PayMitto watches your prefunding balance and emails your finance contacts when it's getting close to the alert threshold (the minimum balance) agreed with your Account Manager.
How it works
- We compare your balance with your recent payout volume to estimate how many days until the balance reaches your threshold.
- From Thursday afternoon through Sunday, we also allow for weekend volume, plus a 10% buffer.
- If you've had no payout volume in the last 14 days, you won't get alerts while you're above the threshold.
The three alert levels
| Level | When |
|---|---|
| Warning | About 3 days or less until the balance reaches your threshold |
| Urgent | About 1 day or less until the balance reaches your threshold |
| Breach | The balance is at or below your threshold |
What you receive
An email from "PayMitto Support" support@paymitto.com with the subject "Prefund balance alert: {your organization} ({level})". It shows: - your prefunding balance and when it was last updated (Central Time) - your expected daily spend and about how many days until you reach your threshold (or, at Breach, that you're at or below it) - a link to your portal support tickets page
You get one alert ticket at a time. We email again only if things get worse (Warning to Urgent to Breach).
What to do: fund your prefunding account so the balance stays above your threshold. If you've already sent funds, you don't need to do anything else. If you have questions, reply on the portal ticket.
To change your threshold or who gets these emails, contact your Account Manager.
