Use this when a client or sender reports a recipient, contact, or bank-name problem in ReadyRemit. Ask for the exact on-screen text or a screenshot when one exists, then match below.
These answers are for the client/sender. Keep them plain. Escalate to PayMitto Support only when the row says so, or when the message is not listed here.
Native vs Web: Native rows below are exact localization strings from the Native SDK on-screen catalog. Web / shared CS rows are white-label CS reference wording (Recipient not found / Recipient account not found). Match the product the client is using.
Recipient not found.
| What it means | What to tell the client | When to escalate |
|---|---|---|
| PayMitto could not fetch the details about the recipient the client selected. | Try again. | If it persists, escalate to PayMitto Support with the client's name and the recipient's name. |
Recipient account not found.
| What it means | What to tell the client | When to escalate |
|---|---|---|
| PayMitto could not fetch the details about the recipient account the client selected. | Try again. | If it persists, escalate to PayMitto Support with the client's name and the recipient's name. |

Native review disclaimer (not an error code, but often on the recipient account screen): Please review 'Recipient's bank details' for accuracy as inaccurate and incomplete information may result in delay, cancellation and/or return of funds.
Recipient bank name or cardholder name (canceled / resubmit)
These tickets often arrive as partner notices, not as a single SDK error string. Common pattern:
- The transfer was canceled due to incorrect Recipient Bank name input (or incorrect recipient cardholder name).
- The notice compares the bank name the sender entered with the bank name the network expects (for example a typo, abbreviation, or partial name versus the full legal bank name).
- Cardholder-name cases: the name entered was a bank or company, not a person.
| What it means | What to tell the client | When to escalate |
|---|---|---|
| The recipient bank name (or cardholder name) did not match what the payout network accepts, so the transfer was canceled. | The transfer was canceled. Resubmit with the correct full bank name as the network lists it — avoid shorthand, misspellings, or partial names. For card payouts, use the cardholder's personal name, not a bank or company name. | Escalate to PayMitto Support if they resubmit with the corrected name and the send still cancels for the same reason. |
If the client cannot select or complete a bank name while creating a recipient or transfer, collect the exact screen text (or screenshot). If it is a form-field validation message, use Form validation on SDK enrollment and registration errors.
