Your limits come from your agreement. They're set during implementation. Your Account Manager can confirm the limits for your program.
How the daily limit works
The sender's daily limit is a rolling 24 hours from when the transfer was submitted, not a calendar day, and not from when it settles.
Example: a sender with a $2,000 daily limit submits a $2,000 transfer at 3:00 PM. At 3:01 PM the next day, they can send another $2,000, even if the first transfer is still pending.
Cancelled transfers don't count toward a sender's limit.
Other things to know
- The minimum transfer is $10 on every delivery method.
- Cash pickup has a lower per-transfer cap than other methods. Some pickup locations have lower limits still, so a sender may see fewer locations for larger amounts.
- Limits can be set lower for specific groups of senders, but never higher than your program limit.
Changing a limit
Ask your Account Manager. Changes take a few business days and may need sponsor bank approval. Limits can't be raised for a single sender or a single transfer.
What the sender sees
When a limit is reached, the sender sees a message such as "You have reached the maximum daily transactions amount. Please wait 24 hours and try again." The message deliberately doesn't say which limit was reached.
