This article explains how fees, exchange rates, and transfer limits work for PayMitto transactions.
Fees
Transfer fees vary by destination corridor and are quoted to the sender at the time of the transfer. The fee is shown before the transfer is submitted.
Exchange Rates
The exchange rate applied to a transfer may differ from the interbank rates shown on Google, Reuters, or Xe.com. Those rates reflect currency trading between large financial institutions handling high volumes, and they are not available for individual consumer payments. Senders receive the exchange rate quoted to them at the time they initiate the transfer.
Transfer Limits
Transfer limits are set at the program level based on your agreement with PayMitto and your sponsor bank's approvals. Limits may apply per transaction, per day, and per week.
Limit windows begin at the time of the sender's first transfer, not at a fixed daily reset. For example, a transfer submitted at 9:08 AM creates a 24-hour window that runs through 9:07 AM the following day. The next window begins when the first transfer of the new period is submitted.
