What Complete means
Complete means the transfer finished from PayMitto's side — it left us successfully. It does not mean the recipient already has the money in hand.
Internal Released maps to Complete. A returned Visa payout still shows as Complete (Visa RETURNED).
For MoneyGram cash pickup, provider status AVAILABLE means cash is ready to collect (not yet collected) and still shows as Complete.
What to say to a member
Two sourced Member FAQ lines disagree on cash pickup. Quote the right one for the situation; do not invent a third.
- "Your transfer has been released to the payout partner. For cash pickup, this means funds have been collected. For bank transfers, funds have been released to the recipient's bank."
- From "My transfer shows Complete but my recipient hasn't received the funds. Why?": "A Complete status means funds have been released to the payout partner. It does not guarantee the funds are in the recipient's account yet, as the recipient bank may take additional time to post the deposit."
Needs attention: FAQ "collected" vs MoneyGram AVAILABLE = ready to collect, still Complete. Leave this wording conflict Open — do not invent a resolution.
Refunded
Some member FAQ language says Refunded. Refunded is not a seventh Portal View Status. Internally it maps to Complete.
